Quality Improvement Grants (QI Grants) are made possible through Michigan's Race to the Top - Early Learning Challenge (RTT-ELC) grant. The goal of the Race to the Top-Early Learning Challenge grant is to support purposeful efforts to ensure that greater numbers of children with high needs are able to access high-quality early learning and development programs.
Due to the overwhelming response to the RTT-ELC QI Grants, funds related to this activity have been depleted. Should funding become available for future opportunities application dates and deadlines will be made available through www.greatstarttoquality.org.
A total of $4,912,082 was awarded to 1,210 child care programs and providers across the state. QI grant recipients shared how the funds supported their program's quality and helped to make a difference in the lives of children and families around the state of Michigan!
Below are some of the impacts made possible through QI Grants!
