Michigan’s free PreK programs are enrolling now for fall. Search for a quality program that meets your needs. Programs follow a school year schedule. There are part-day, full-day, and 4 and 5-day preschool options available. Before and after school care and transportation are offered at some locations.

Find your top choice for preschool available, then click on the Apply For Free PreK button in their profile to complete your application. During the application process, you will be asked to provide some information about your family and child to verify their age and eligibility.
How to Apply for Free Programs in 3 Easy Steps
Apply to one of Michigan’s GSRP free PreK programs near you and have your child Empowered by Preschool.
Step 1
Once you find your preferred free program, click on the Apply For Free PreK link in their profile.
Step 2
Complete the application. If you need help, just call the program’s phone number listed on their profile page.
Step 3
Upload the documents they ask for.
Documents You Will Need
To apply for free preschool and PreK, you will need:
- Your driver’s license or documented ID
- Your child’s birth certificate or other proof of birthdate
- Information about income, such as: pay stubs, a copy of your W-4 or W-9
